With the abolition of the landfill tax exemption and the annual increases in the levy for disposal of contaminated soils at landfill the need to find alternative solutions is becoming an ever more pressing need.

Reuse Of Material On Site

Following the introduction of the Industry Code of Practice – Definition of Waste T&P have an in-house CL:aire accredited Qualified Person. Therefore we are able to offer the design of a scheme, if applicable, where site won material can be re-used and avoid the need to utilise the Waste Management Licensing Regulations or an exemption.

Alternatively we can take on the role of the Independent Qualified Person and review the third party documents and provide the Declaration to the Environment Agency in order to allow the movement of material to commence.
